One-on-One Projects - NEW
Today we have introduced the new concept to designcontest.com.
From now on Clients will have an ability to hire designers who have previously won their contests and need to make some changes or maybe something completely new. For example if the designer has won a logo design contest, client (contest holder) will most likely prefer to hire the same designer to design a banner or a business card or a website.
We even took this few steps further and gave an ability for the designers to be hired without any relations to the previous contests. So every designer's profile now has the HIRE button. Anybody who comes to the site can review the designer's profile and hire for individual project without starting the design contest.
Also clients can hire any of the top 7 designers right from our homepage. So it is very important that you guys get your rankings up to be featured at DC.
More earnings for the designers!
So, how it works? Pretty simple: Client fills out the requirements, designer gets notification, then you go into negotiation phase (change deadline, add more info, increase the award $$$, etc), then once accepted, designer completes the work for the client (like in the design contest), once done - designer gets paid.
Another new feature to pay attention to: now client can request source files from multiple designs. Designers will be able to upload as many zip archives as was requested by client.

Let me know if any questions. I will be more than happy to answer.

Thats a nice feature.. it will most of all inspire every designer to work harder to improve to get noticed (like mentioned .. in the top 7)
