Oh I love that post by jjyepez with the evolution of some logos.
In most cases you can see major improvements have happened (ha, Apple's first logo!). I have to admit though, I do miss the previous iteration of the Pepsi logo. It may have been more symmetrical (aka less "dynamic") but I think we all get something of a nostalgic/emotional attachment to logos we've grown up with.

Yeah, the evolution of logos was very interesting. In the film 'Back to the Future' Texaco was used instead of Shell gas station since the Shell logo didn't really change so a shift in time wouldn't be as apparent.

35 bucks? I hope she has some rights to that logo that can ensure compensation.

I found the article about the history of logos to be very interesting. Even my husband who it not interested in logos read and thought it was interesting! I enjoy reading the articles that people post that I would not have come across, thanks for sharing!

As the text says, it is amazing how a small symbol we call a logo design can make a company into a huge success.

....wow....the first Apple logo (1976) really illustrates that 'bad things can happen to good people' when you let the company executives design the logo.
