    Wacom Graphire4

I think the line of Graphire4 Wacom tablets is pretty new. There's even wireless (bluetooth) version. Did anybody get a chance to use Graphire4 yet? What do you think about the buttons? are they convenient?

    Interesting but...

I know everybody is getting on the wireless bandwagon, wireless keyboards, mice, etc. But I feel its more marketing than anything else. I really don't see/have a use for a 'wireless' tablet, especially when one is going to have to worry about charging the batteries, etc.

I have the Graphire3 and it's awesome, as was their previous model(s). I'm not sure how helpful the buttons are. There were buttons on the top of one of my tablets years ago, but I never used them. To me it would be awkward to use anyways as you have your hand on the pen to begin with, but that's just me.

Price is right though. If I had a choice between a USB and a wireless one, i'd still pick the tethered, USB version.

I totally agree with chromeguy. One of the advantages of wired hardware (tablets, keyboards, mouses) is they don't require batteries.
I was thinking of buying a graphire 4 lately since I don't have any tablets(yes I know it's fatal that I don't have one yet but I'm not a pro designer, so... )

EDIT: I've just realised that wacom charges an extra 35€ in europe for the mouse while us version of the same graphire4 package includes mouse for free. Intersting....
