    Adobe Photoshop Express

It's not really anything for proffessionals and I haven't yet looked into all it's features but the fronpage is kinda cool.

I signed up the other day just to check it out. I like it (although I'll be doing my editing in my regular photoshop) okay but found it was a bit slow. But it's still in beta so I'm sure there are a few kinks that'll need to be worked out.

how come you'll be doing your editing in your photoshop?

... thought there are photoshop tools in that site.

I signed up yesterday as well to check it up a bit further (http://redbanana.photoshop.com).

The main thing isn't, what I can see, the photoshop features but a neat way to store/share/view/download pictures. The editing is mainly just resizing, croping, a few filters etc. but there´s maybe more to come after the beta-period.

<Edit> I can't really see any benefits doing professional work online. I would like to see how a 50+ layered .psd weighing 200mb or more will act in an online tool... and what the processingtimes would be... nothing I can see work in a near future.

I have a hard time thinking it will be anything more than a cool storage and photo/portfolio site for regular people. </edit>

Well first of all, I can't even upload PSD files! Or PDF files. Or EPS or GIF or TIF files... I don't save all my work in jpegs! So in order for me to use my files, I'll have to go into Photoshop, change the files into jpeg, wait patiently (or impatiently) for them to upload only to make changes (of which there are only a handful of choices). Why bother?

But I do like how it looks, as far as the gallery is concerned, more so that Photobucket.

Only thing - I don't see where I can link individual photos anywhere. I am on messageboards where I like to embed the image instead of sending a link but I don't see how I can do that, or even create a link for just one image. Looks like I can only link a whole gallery??

Like I said, it's got some kinks to work out. But it is capable of doing better editing than Photobucket. But right now, for my needs for an online photo gallery program, I might just stick to Photobucket.

When logged in, you just hover the image and you get a little square in the bottom of the image saying photo options and when clicked you get a menu with options. Then just click link and a url is copied to your clipboard and you just paste it in whatever program you wish.
