    Rotating Banner

    Rotating Banner

    Hello,
Recently I read an Article that resurepus posted Design and Content Tips by Peggie Brown

I got inspired and brought me to the Rotating Banner Idea! I Cought some visitors here telling its hard to navigate on DC website, probably because its based on a Forum, I Suggest to have a top Rotating Graphical Banner which bring the most viewable feature Such as Contest, Guideline, Tutorial, Design inspiration and Chat"

This would guide the visitor very well, instead of a boring Normal Buttons or Links and a Good interactive with the site.. I agree that Simplicity works fine but not all the visitors are the same.

    Cheers
    -Amr

Thats a great idea, I have seen rotating banners that have the ability to rewind if you miss the link.

I kind of like the current banner to be honest... I think that we just need to change it to fit the site a little bit easier.

I do find it a little difficult to find my way back to the contests after being in the forum. I have to go back to the forum home and then scroll down to the contests...unless I am missing something.

This how i see things: DC is more then a forum. When you enter designcontest.net, You have access to DC portfolio, DC contests, DC info, DC rules, everything about DC because that is the DC homepage.

So, for me this banner is ok, works fine for me.
Homepage -> go to forum or other links
Click Banner -> go to homepage

p.s. i hope that anyone understood me, my english is not perfect
