Hi guys, I'm new around here.
I thought I could show you a design made for an audiojungle contest. It was only a runnerup, but it was rated as a good one.
Hope you like it

Cool design, I really like the amount of realism you incorporated in to the background of this piece.
Agreed, but I think you can improve by making the cassette a little less cartoonish if you know what I mean, maybe make it a bit more transparent.
very cool, what'd you use to make it?
Thanks for your good comments.
I used photoshop to create the cassette, and used photos for the leafs and water.

I think this is a really great piece!
Nice work !
Maybe a little more light to big leaf and some water drops will make this image even more lively ^___^
nice
very nice. i like how you put the leaves in this image. very clean looking. thumbs up!
It looks nice.
And I like the contrast of the slightly cartoonish cassette and the realistic background - it wouldn't look that well if the cassette was completely realistic too.
The only thing that I find can be improved a little is the right upper side - where the water blends with the leaves. The water blends perfectly with the leaves below the cassette but I think it just needs slightly tweaking on the right side.
Overall I find the image really nice!
thanks for your good comments!
very nice.. what program was used for this piece?
The water at the bottom seems a bit odd to me for some reason, but I still really like the piece.
Its a very, very nice creation of art. I wonder why it was the runner up. It should have been a WINNER. A semi-transparent cassette would be a good idea, I think.
I think it is also very nice, love the quality and smooth feel about it, very precise looking, too bad not first.....KIU though!!!
Nice work, May I ask how long it took you?
Thanks guys for your comments.
@TysonSmith
As to how long it took me... I do not remember exactly how long I worked on that, but I would say some 4 days but working only on the nights on that, due to my studies during the day.
By the way, your portfolio is really good, Tyson. I see you are a real professional. I like your work.
