About LinkBacksI hope it's not perceived as a self-promotion to share my own work here. I'm actually not looking for more work, but love what I do and like to share it. This is my first post here so please let me now if this is a breach of forum etiquette.
The latest is for a latin funk band in Miami, Florida. Some of the references are local. For example, the store "book" is based on the ration books that Cubans used for many years to get their monthly allotments of rice and beans, etc. from the government. Miami City Hall is actually the former Pan Am airlines terminal where the "Havana Clipper" seaplanes docked.
All the text in the site is dynamically driven by text files the client can easily modify without touching flash and there are simple XML files that allow them to add and modify photo galleries.

I think it's great really. The theme is great and while I've never been to see the band I feel like I have a pretty good idea for what they are about. The site is unorthodox though, and that may confuse people new to the site.

Only entrance pre-loader could be better I guess... A Cuban cigar shaped pre-loader could suit with this beautiful design maybe.. but its a great design. Congrats
