I'm planning to buy a new laptop in this months. But I'm not sure about waiting for Windows Vista to come out. Since some vista's features are hardware side (Windows Sideshow).

What do you think?

Now I have a Pentium 4, 1.8 Ghz, 256 Ram. I think I can wait 6-9 months with that...

Vista is not as good as many people think. But you got a nice Pentium, so if you really wanna wait it doesnt seems like a problem.

Wait to get a Mac Powerbook 17inch when they come out, and the Intel on them is better tweaked, ALONG with the programs being universal. I need a new laptop also. Dells don't go very far...

Well, maybe isn't that good, but is the future leading OS, just like XP in this times. And A Mac Powerbook 17 inch! That sounds nice, but... I'm sure a Windows would suit me better.

Maybe I wait, If I wait I could save more money too.
