I will never understand how you can make something like this with real oils on real canvas!
Thanks for the link, AK-Sultan!

I really respect those able to do this. I find it incredibly hard just sketching a person in correct proportions ^^
Considering a really good digital painting takes some 50-60 hours or so. Do you have any number on the amount of hours that goes into this kind of work? I imagine it takes quite much more doing it on canvas.

The kid in the picture is only thing I don't like is the kid cause it don't look so real. What I like the most is the crayon on the wall.
this pictures is amazing.. its unbelieveble thats its not a photograph but the real art made with oils
Oh wow! This is just beautiful. I love the concept behind the image. I could never paint at all. I stick to graphic designing and graphic art ^^; the work is just wonderful. Love the composition and the warm colors. I would never have the patients to try and achieve this level of painting on canvas. Very interesting ^_^
I scolled down too fast and totally missed the "Oil on canvas - 100 × 70 Cm" above ans thought it was a photo, which still would have been a cool visual but to then find out it was an illustration - WOW. Great concept and brilliantly executed.
Thanks for sharing that one AK-Sultan!

Wow! Looks great! Almost like a photo!
it's nice.. i like the crayon on the wall. The details in this art is amazing!
Well this piece is simply awesome.
Great details great colors. Actually, at first I was thinking this was a picture, not painting![]()
The textures are so real, so are the details! I like it
Nowadays we are so used to draw, paint, illustrate or just to put it simply, to create in a digital manner, we forget how it used to be. Back in the days, to draw with just a pencil and crayons or waterpaint. This piece is awesome.
I don't think his goal is to get that ultimate realism. That's why he paints or draws, to create an image that is in his/her mind, but also to try to achieve some kind of realism that balances between their own artistic, hand-made characteristics and the real world. He could have also just taken a picture but that's just the point. He's a painter, not a photographer. The kid in the picture is only thing I don't like is the kid cause it don't look so real. What I like the most is the crayon on the wall.
