Hey everyone on DesignContest.net,
I've actually been a member on here for over a year and just haven't posted. I've fully intended to get involved, but my actual job has always taken precedence. I want to make more of a concentrated effort to see what this site has to offer.
I'm Dan, a 25-yr old dude from Cincinnati, OH. I moved to Salt Lake after design school a year and a half ago to work for Infinite Scale Design Group (www.infinitescale.com)...the site is in need of updating the projects on there for about 2 years, but its worth a look. We do a lot of environmental graphic design and sports-related projects--which I love, because I'm kind of a sports nut. I don't get my hands on many logo designs, though, which I've always been very interested in. Maybe DesignContest.net can be my avenue for that.
Really going to try and get involved on here!
Thanks for reading if you did.

Hi Dan,
You've picked a good time to jump back in and get involved! DC has recently added open contests which give non-elite designers the opportunity to compete in logo contests so you'll be able to gain some experience with logos and build your logo portfolio.
so, did you get to work on the superbowl graphics, and the olympics? That would be such a blast to be involved with!
See you around!

I have worked on two Super Bowls (XLI and XLIII) as well as some other big events like it. A ridiculous amount of work, but the satisfaction in the end is very nice. No Olympics for me, I was a Jr. in high school haha.
Thanks for saying hi!
spillups10,
Welcome, I do work for many of the college bowl games and the ACC and SEC. Never did a Superbowl but I can just imagine the work. Presently working on March Madness and an Indy race. Glad to see you on board and I am excited about seeing your work.

Welcome to Design Contest..
Here are some links to help you get started.
http://www.designcon...-designers.html
http://www.designcon...pplication.html
http://www.designcon...c-contests.html
And please read ALL the stickies at the top of the forum.
I'd also like to add that with the increase in new members because of our new open to all contests I'll be deleting useless posts... Like "nice" or "cool".. in hopes of everyone understanding what it really takes to be an elite team member.
