My name is Deb and I'm from Canada. I've loved art and design all my life, but never had the confidence to make a career of it.
Found a link to this site from a design blog...sounds like a great idea to have contests for design. I've joined a few of those 'bidding' freelance sites, but this idea I like better. This way, the client gets to see my ideas before judging me. Sometimes I feel the little portfolio I do have isn't necessarily representative of what I can do. And hey, sometimes creativity just hits you, no?
Anyways, I'm happy to give this site a try and meet some other likeminded creative people.
