Hello from new member

Hello,
My real name is Tim and I recently stumbled onto this sight on a late night web cruise.
In the past, I've held corporate design jobs, one of which the company sent me all over the world training design to their teams.
I would stay in these countries at an average of a month at a time. I managed to make it to every continent but Antarctica (got close with Tasmania).
I've been freelancing for over 12 years now and most of my regular clients are in the aircraft industry. I occasionally get to design paint schemes for aircraft manufacturers but most of my regular income is from less creative work.
I build and maintain websites for several aircraft organizations, build and maintain databases, and administrate forums and email discussion lists, one which has over 17,000 members.
This site might just be what I need to get back to my design roots. I already spent a little time last night designing logos for two contest that are ending in a few days.
My understanding is that I need to participate in this forum ten times before I can submit entries. Not sure if I have enough to say in such a short period of time, but will give it a shot.
If this works out then I will re-upload my old website with my gallery of work and will give the elite membership a try.
