I've been browsing the forums and am very impressed with the work I've seen! Just registered this morning in hopes of getting a logo contest started.
I work for a company that sells *very* high-end electronic systems for homes. We are completing the acquisition of a smaller company which will handle less exotic installations for us. This company will compete with the electronics "big box" retailers as well as local mom-and-pop retailers.
One of my tasks is to create a new identity for the company, and starting with the logo (and website) is what I've decided to begin with.
As for me, when I'm not dealing in electronics (normally in sales/marketing/system design) I'm usually tinkering with cars. In my spare time, I operate a small online business which sells a few of my inventions. It's fun, and keeps me plenty busy.
Moderators, beyond the FAQ, can you please advise me of the best method to begin a contest? I'd love to have one up and running asap, and have been approved a fair budget to proceed.
