My 3rd drawing

I got a wacom the other day, and have been trying to get used to it. My first attempt ended up looking like a plate of spaghetti, my second was just doodles, this is the first serious attempt at a picture.

Wow, What version wacom is that, I want one for christmas! I know its not the tablet but man thats nice, especially the shading.

It's the graphire3 4x5... I didnt think it would be big enough but it is. The best way to get the shading done (and I'm still experimenting so I might find a better way), is to draw the image about 3 times larger than you want the final result, that way small flaws wont be noticable, and the shading blends in much nicer.

I'm embarrassed to say that I have had a tablet (sounds like the same one actually) for about a year now - and i've got nothing to show like this I think that you've inspired me to start playing around with it more! Great work! - especially for just a third attempt.

I regularly clean out my webserver because I hate to use too much space, some of the images I upload can take lots of megabytes so the pix folder is normally the first thing I clean out, I'll leave it up for a bit.

Thanks for uploading it back! It is a nice work indeed, especially for a third one! What software do you use with your wacom?

Right now I only have photoshop.
My illustrator CD has gone, I cant find it anywhere.
But soon I'll be practising with a new copy of illustrator.
