    Folders in Illustrator??

Does anybody know of a plug-in that would allow you to make folders in your layers (like in Photoshop)

I tend to work in a lot of layers in illustrator - some of my work is for die-cut books - so each spread consists of multiple layers. It'd be nice to be able to drop those layers into a folder for each spread.

Is there already a way to do that in Illustrator (cs2)?

I am a little surprised that you ask that for Illustrator. I find the layering in InDesign not so sophisticated but I have never had problems with Illustrator.

Use the layers themselves as a folder - that is what I do. Select the layers that you want and place them all in another layer - it will serve you the same purpose as a folder.
Did you get what I mean (since I don't explain very well)?

well, yeah - that's what I do now - using sublayers. It kinda works the same, but it's not as neat/tidy.
