hello, i had to design a home page for a farm that works with ill or trobled kids.
they asked for something clean but with some intrest with illustrations. i don't really know if i nailed it with the illustration "character" but i sure hope so.

b.t.w
that's hebrew. it's read from right to left :)

sorry for duplicating

I like the style of your illustration but I'm not feeling the "helping troubled kids" theme. Did you try incorporating a human element in the illustration?

actually i havent :)

lets see what the client have to say about it (i already sent it) and if she'll like the style i'll try to add some people.

the only probkem is that i don't really know to draw people in the same style... i mainly draw realistic, and this is my first time trying to illustrate "comic" creatures

thanks for the feedback :)

Cute.

Maybe the colors of the illustration are somehow pale.
I would try aligning orange menu on the right with the top of the text and extend that gray line to the right edge.

looks very good only I think the photo on the let should get a ruff edge to match the rest of the design.

Thats why it's cute^^ Soft colours here are the perfect choice.

2unique,
If you add a few children in there, then it would be complete.

For me, children OK, farm OK, and help wanted :) Maybe the help factor is not explicit enough.
Colors are Ok too for me, very simple and "crayon", adecuate for a children site.

Saludos!

I like the muted colors too, don't change them. The overall concept is nice, but keep in mind, you need to grab the viewer's attention quickly, or else they'll leave the website. Make the info of "what they do" the most important element of the landing page. You can still do that with complimentary colors of your illustration and fun fonts, but be sure to get that info upfront and center! Good luck.;)

i like the illustrations as well. I feel like it is all a bit too spaced out though, on first glance.
Perhaps there could be some larger elements?

How about putting bandages on the animals... its a small detail that will give you the "troubled" feeling
The best design decisions are simple, because they don't contain elements that are not necessary... and contain the necessary elements in a way that looks logical...
