Help!

I am happy with what I have so far. However, it feels like it needs more...something else that I can't quite get my fingers on. More of an actual background, either collage-like, or some sort of a painted texture...more motion. something. Any suggestions? If there's anything you would change to what i already have I'll take some ideas too. Have in mind that this is probably going to be printed at a fairly large size (28inx39in or so), and might be displayed at a church. I do want to stray away from any conventional symbolism or whatever...it must remain a very modern and dynamic piece.

Too much background will probably loose what you have created, maybe a light colour in the background probably textured or gradiant.

I think there could be more motion to enhance the bird behind the wings, some more shapes etc..

But hey what do I know...lol

I would probably keep the background simple, I don't know if I'd use a pattern b/c it might get too busy...I would try a simple rectangle in the background that almost covers the whole image (like a thick white border underneith). I say that b/c it would keep it more open. For some reason I think very light purple, but that's just my spin on it! I don't always know what I'm talking about.

I love the collage-feel though! And I think the sketches add a really nice touch
