I have a wide screen monitor and there is a TON of white space. Try changing the background color to something other than white. Also limit the number of colors you use across your site between the logo and header image you have a bit of color going on and the colors don't really match, it does not make the design look uniform and flowing.
Overall it looks as though you are trying to do to much, remember simplicity is beautiful and to simplify is to beautify so try taking out some of the colors and making everything a slight bitter simpler and less busy.
