You do need to work on your portfolio quite a bit though.

You should improve your portfolio. Since when are you in design ?
Im 20, I have been designing since im 18 but since I was 15 I tended to draw my ideas and improve the way I design, I would like the feedback cuz im young and I believe i still have a lot to learn, I'm studying marketing and my goal is to have a marketing company mixed with design and publ. I have had a lot of time to study designing concepts but all by my own since there is nowhere to learn real design concepts where I live. Currently im learning some of 3d modeling and animation, but all by my own again. Im learing some Illustrator cuz im new at that, i have been learning studying, and working a lot with PS (all my works are made there).
@deathdart im still uploading pics so keep in track of my work.
I have a lot of handrawn sketches and im thinking of make them real works, so far i need to scan them to show them.
@zorro: keep the track of my blog. im glad u like it

You should not use the standard templates though change the texture of the site or use the simple one and make a good header.

You can do both. Blogger dashboard there is a help link to find all the answers but the pictures for the template you need to upload somewhere else.

And maybe it would be a good idea to drop the solid background behind your logo because I'm seeing the edges of it over the background texture...
Hope this helps !
