When I started I found illustrator way friendlier than photoshop and it is my one time favourite till today! Can't do without it

I agree that photoshop is much more easier to manage and I've taught people who were computer illiterate to use the basics without much trouble but with that said, Illustrator has really grown on me lately.

Illustrator is best for creating artworks like logos, cliparts, patterns etc...
Photoshop is best for creating designworks like banner, poster, advertisement and for editing photos...
Choose wisely for each task

I don't think there is a competition between Illustrator and Photoshop. They complement each other and are used for different things. The key is in knowing when to use each different software.

Both apps are very useful. Photoshop is best when editing pictures and Illustrator is in making logos. I always make fun with this two apps in order to achieve my desire design. Nice topic.

Both are good program. It depends on the user how it will be used by way of designing or what design that are going to execute.

It depends on what you are creating. If you are creating a logo, I think AI is better. If you are touching up photos - Photoshop is the best choice.
